Program Manager

Role description

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our lively team. If you’ve got a knack for project management, a solid background in consulting and engineering, and experience working with international clients, this could be the role for you!

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage large-scale projects involving multiple teams and up to 200 engineers. You’ll ensure everything stays on track—on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed. You’ll also have the chance to visit client sites (travel around 10-15% of the time).
  • Consulting & Business Development: You’ll provide consulting services, covering commercial and business development, and look for opportunities to grow our business with existing clients.
  • Communication: Keep things running smoothly by maintaining clear and open communication with both clients and team members. Handling tricky situations with professionalism and ease will be second nature to you.
  • Spotting Opportunities: Always on the lookout for ways to upsell and expand services with current clients, you’ll help us grow by identifying new opportunities.
  • Engineering Expertise: You’ll lean on your engineering know-how to ensure everything is organized and delivered to the highest standard. 

 

What you’ll need: 

  • Proven experience working with international clients.
  • Stellar project management skills, with the ability to handle complex projects and manage tough clients.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time for client visits.
  • Solid consulting experience, including in commercial and business development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle tricky situations like a pro.
  • A natural talent for spotting new opportunities and upselling to clients.
  • A strong engineering background or qualifications that show your organizational and execution skills.

Time off

Flexible work

Our core working hours are from 9:00 to 15:00 daily, but how early you start or how late you work, is up to you. There is also the option to work remotely by arrangement.

Offer

If you successfully complete the interview and assessment stages, we’ll extend a job offer to you.  This offer will include details about compensation, benefits and other pertinent information.

Onboarding

Once you accept our offer, we’ll guide you through our onboarding process which includes orientation sessions, training and introductions to your team and key stakeholders,  and assign you a “buddy” to help get you settled.  We want to ensure that you feel welcome and prepared as you begin your journey at EmbedIT.
